Captain Curtis was a pilot who worked for Quest Aerospace, the main competitor of Oscorp. Considered Quest Aerospace's top pilot, he was chosen to test the prototype exoskeleton the company developed for the United States military. However, as the the exoskeleton took off on it's test flight, Norman Osborn, as the Green Goblin, attacked the test flight, destroying the exoskeleton and killing Curtis.
