Even Dead, I'm The Hero (E.D.I.T.H.) is an augmented reality security, defense and artificial tactical intelligence system created by Tony Stark and bequeathed to Peter Parker following Stark's death. Housed in a pair of sunglasses, E.D.I.T.H. gave its user access to the Stark Industries’ satellite network along with an arsenal of missiles and drones.

History[]

Spider-Man: Far From Home[]

"Stark gave you a multi-billion dollar AR tactical intelligence system."
―"Nick Fury" to Spider-Man[src]

Following the death of Tony Stark, E.D.I.T.H was given to Nick Fury to hand to Peter Parker, whom Stark trusted to inherit. Talos, a Skrull, who taking place of Fury at the time, granted Parker the glasses eight months after Stark's death. At first, Parker was excited at the aspect of being entrusted with such power; however, following accidentally initiating a drone strike against his classmate Brad Davis, he began to feel that he was unworthy of this power and later bequeathed it to Quentin Beck, believing Beck to be worthy of becoming the "next Iron Man".

Used by Quentin Beck[]

Once given to Beck, he used the glasses for his illusions and nefarious purposes.

Eventually, after defeating Mysterio's illusions, Parker took the glasses and was welcomed back by E.D.I.T.H. He ordered all of the drones to be shut down, and presumably returned to the satellite. This would later be used against Parker by Beck's team when revealing Parker's identity. Parker then took the glasses back to New York City.

Inactive[]

About a week later, following the reveal that Peter Parker was Spider-Man, the glasses were photographed as evidence by the United States Department of Damage Control. Later, in November of that year, Parker saw that the Iron Spider Armor's HUD listed E.D.I.T.H. as offline.
