While her husband was in jail, she was trying to help her daughter Penny with her illness until Flint came to their house after escaping from jail two days beforehand. He arived at their house and the pair meet again, they argue about Flint's alleged killing of an old man two years ago before hearing police sirens. Before Flint left, he told her that he wasn't the bad guy, but had bad luck. He then left causing her much sadness.
