James Edward Franco (born on April 19th, 1978) is an American actor who achieved international fame with his portrayal of Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. He originally screen tested for the role of Spider-Man in 2000 and has since worked with Sam Raimi on Oz: The Great and Powerful. Franco admitted that he was unimpressed by The Amazing Spider-Man, agreeing with many critics that it's plot was too similair to 2002's Spider-Man in which he starred. [1]
