John Jonah Jameson III was an astronaut and pilot working for the Life Foundation.

After retrieving 4 Symbiotes (Riot, Venom, Scream and an unnamed symbiote), John was forcefully bonded to Riot and presumably attacked the other crew members, causing the rocket they were on to crash into Sarawak, Malaysia where only he survived. There he was taken into an ambulance, where the Riot Symbiote used him to bond with the Ambulance Driver, causing the vehicle to crash and fall onto it's side.
