Matthew Michael "Matt" Murdock is a blind lawyer who assisted Peter Parker during his troubles with Mysterio. He was portrayed by Charlie Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

History

Spider-Man: No Way Home

After Spider-Man's true identity was revealed to the entire world as Peter Parker by Mysterio, Murdock represented the hero and cleared his name from any potential charges. He also warned Happy Hogan that due to his close relationship with Tony Stark and the Stark Industries company, he would need a strong attorney to defend him from potential cases due to his close link to the missing technology that was a part of the federal investigation.

Afterwards, he informed Peter that a court of public opinion was still pending, and the entire situation could be vulnerable to escalation. Right after, a pro-Mysterio protestor threw a brick in Peter's apartment, which Matt catched quickly using his heightened senses. Peter was shocked to see Murdock do that, and asked him how he even did it, in which Murdock replied to the fact of himself being a "really good lawyer".

Eventually, due to Doctor Strange's mindwipe spell, Murdock's memories of Peter Parker were erased.
