The Multiverse is the aggregate that consists of an infinite number of alternate realities, unique parallel dimensions, and sub-verses such as the Spider-Verse.
The Multiverse has been in ever-lasting existence, with infinite universes co-existing simultaneously, while some like the universe of Peter Parker, being isolated from the rest of the Multiverse due to specific conditions[1]. The Multiverse also contains smaller multiverses, dedicated to a certain title of individuals who exist within the grander Multiverse, such as the Spider-Verse, which is a sub-verse that links all variants of Spider-Man through Canon Events and the Web of Life and Destiny.[2]

Venom: Let There Be Carnage[]
After the events that ensued between the battle which consisted the symbiotes Venom and Carnage, and their hosts Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady, Venom and Eddie decided to stay over at a hotel after the conflict had ended. However, during their stay, an abrupt shift in reality erupted, causing the entire atmosphere around them to alternate, as their hotel suite went from a darker room to a more bright and sunny room on a beach. On the TV in front of them, a news report from the Daily Bugle played with J. Jonah Jameson talking about Peter Parker being the real Spider-Man, revealing the fact that Venom had transported to a whole new universe. Venom saw this, and licked the screen when he saw an unmasked Parker in the Spider-Man suit, identifying him as a threat.
Spider-Man: No Way Home[]
Spell Gone Wrong[]
In one of the infinite universes of the Multiverse, Doctor Strange was asked by his world's Spider-Man to erase the minds of everyone who knew his true identity as Peter Parker. Strange agreed to do so, however, once Peter learned of the consequences that could come with Strange's spell, he attempted to interfere, leading to the tampering of the Multiverse. This brought in a group of individuals from alternate universes into Parker's universe who ultimately began wreaking havoc and coming in conflict with the superhero.
